MINISTRIES
Adults from our church volunteer at Samaritan Ministries once or twice a month as part of living out our faith through service. Samaritan Ministries is a Christian-based organization in Winston-Salem that provides food, shelter, and hope to those in need every day of the year. Whether it's helping in the Soup Kitchen or supporting the Inn Shelter, our volunteers have the opportunity to share Christ’s love in practical, compassionate ways. It's a meaningful way to serve our community, grow together, and reflect the heart of Matthew 25:35 — feeding the hungry and welcoming the stranger.
GRIEF SHARE
We offer GriefShare on site a couple of times each year as a way to support those who are walking through the pain of loss. GriefShare is a Christ-centered, video-based support group that helps people navigate the difficult journey of grief in a safe, understanding environment. Each session includes teaching, group discussion, and personal reflection, all designed to offer comfort, hope, and healing. It’s important because no one should have to face grief alone—and this group reminds us that healing is possible with time, community, and God’s love.
GRACE FOOD BOXES
Our church is proud to participate in the USDA Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), a vital initiative that helps improve the health and nutrition of low-income seniors. Each month, our dedicated volunteers come together to pack and distribute food boxes to over 300 seniors in our surrounding community.
These food boxes contain a variety of nutritious USDA-provided items that support a balanced diet, helping to address food insecurity and promote wellness among some of our most vulnerable neighbors. Through this outreach, we strive not only to meet physical needs, but also to demonstrate care, compassion, and community.
If you’d like to volunteer or support this ministry, we welcome your involvement!
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Our church supports Operation Christmas Child year-round by collecting items that will be used to fill shoeboxes with gifts for children around the world. Each fall, we host a fun and meaningful shoebox packing party where everyone in the church can take part in sending joy and the message of Jesus to kids in need. In addition, a small group from our church volunteers at the state packing center, where they help process thousands of boxes headed to children across the globe. It's an amazing opportunity to be part of something much bigger—sharing the gospel through simple gifts and heartfelt service. This mission allows all ages to participate in global outreach with a personal touch.
